Terms of Service

Effective 14 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Aliaksei Danilau (Lookbox). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Lookbox.

Lookbox is operated by Aliaksei Danilau, an individual based in Tbilisi, Georgia. You can reach us at hello@lookbox.style.

If you got Lookbox from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies to that app and to subscriptions you buy in it, together with these terms. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA about that app or those subscriptions, the Standard EULA prevails.

1. Who may use Lookbox

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for consenting to online services, you must meet that age, or have your parent or guardian agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google, or with Apple where that option is offered. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for everything that happens under your Lookbox account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.

3. Your photos stay yours

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize and modify them, and to send them to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy, for one purpose only: running Lookbox for you. This licence exists so we can operate the service, and it ends when your content is deleted, apart from the copies described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not use your photos to train our own models, and we do not license them to anyone for advertising.

By uploading a photo you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not show other people without their consent.

The catalogue images, outfit collages and descriptions Lookbox makes from your photos are yours to use for personal purposes, and the same licence above covers them. Lookbox itself (the app, its software, design and brand) belongs to us; these terms do not give you any rights in it beyond using the service.

If you believe content in Lookbox infringes your rights, write to hello@lookbox.style with the details. We may remove the content and suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe.

4. How you may not use Lookbox

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that break these rules.

5. What the AI produces

Lookbox uses automated systems to recognise your garments, generate catalogue images of them, and suggest outfits. These systems make mistakes. Attributes can be wrong, generated images are machine-made approximations and may not match the real garment, and outfit suggestions are opinions produced by software, not professional styling advice. Use your judgement.

6. The service will change

Lookbox is early software. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice of a shutdown where we can.

Please keep your own copies of any photo that matters to you. We back up the service, but we do not promise that your content will always be recoverable.

7. Paid plans

Lookbox is free for the first 10 items you add to your wardrobe. Paid plans raise that limit; the current plans and prices are on our Pricing page. The limit is the total number of items you add over the life of your account, not per month: every item you add counts toward it, even if you remove it later, and a renewal does not reset it.

Paid plans are subscriptions that renew every month until you cancel. If you have more items than your plan allows (including on the Free plan, or after your paid plan ends or you move to a smaller one), items above the limit stay in your wardrobe but are locked, together with outfits that use them, until you upgrade. To buy a paid plan you must be an adult, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Web purchases. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. You can also write to us about the product, or about a refund under our Refund Policy. Web prices are in US dollars and include sales tax or VAT where it applies. You can change or cancel a web subscription at any time in Lookbox on the web (app.lookbox.style), under Profile, Subscription. An upgrade takes effect right away and charges the difference for the rest of the current month (very small amounts are added to your next renewal); a smaller plan starts at your next renewal. After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it: you keep the paid plan for a short grace period, after which it stops until the payment goes through, and if the payment cannot be collected the subscription is cancelled. Cancelling a subscription whose last payment failed ends it right away.

App purchases. Subscriptions bought in our mobile apps are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms, priced in your store's currency, and managed in your App Store or Google Play account. Upgrades, downgrades and cancellations there follow the store's rules. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, your use of the app and any App Store subscription you buy in it are also covered by Apple's Standard EULA (see the start of these terms).

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy. If we change a price, the new price applies from your first renewal after we tell you, and you can cancel before then.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Lookbox at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and data from Profile → ⋮ → Delete account in the app (or as described in the Privacy Policy). We may terminate or suspend your account if you break these terms, if a payment for your plan cannot be collected, if we see a security or fraud risk, or if we stop operating the service. If we discontinue Lookbox, or end your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of your current paid period for a web purchase; App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded under the store's rules.

Deleting your account cancels your web subscription right away, without an automatic refund for the rest of the period (see the Refund Policy). A Google Play subscription is cancelled too, so you are not charged again. An App Store subscription is not cancelled automatically: cancel it in your Apple Account settings first.

9. No warranty

Lookbox is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost content, arising from your use of Lookbox. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Lookbox in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Lookbox after a change means you accept the new terms.
